The Palace Saloon in Fernandina Beach, Florida is just about the coolest bar I've ever been in. I'll post photos of the interior soon. For now, here is the amazing Dress Code sign taped to the front door window. You can find out more about The Palace Saloon here

18 LOCH NESS MONSTERS
My favorite Muffler Man of all time. He's showing that little one who's boss!
I found this one on a road trip with my friend Chad in Cornelia, Georgia.
You'll find an excellent book on Muffler Men here

IT'S HEAVY!
Yep, James Brown Cookies, excuse me I meant COOKEEZ.
As stated on the back of the package: Violence and crime are at an all time high nationally. James Brown COOKEEZ will donate 1% of the cost of these COOKEEZ to Anti-Violence and Crime Prevention organizations in schools, churches, etc. nationwide. Our motto is "WE MUST ALL TAKE TIME TO COMBAT CRIME" We care.
Wow, a whole 1%!! You really do care. And of course James Brown knew nothing about violence.

Little Nutty
Here is one of my favorite mascot characters ever. He is supposed to be a steak, but he looks very much like a nutsack. I don't know if he had a name. There was a local steak house chain here in Atlanta called Pilgreen's. It's long gone now but I managed to salvage some great stuff from the closed original location.
